Grand Slam Games

Add/Subtract Grand Slam. In this Skill Set® 2 Bonus Game, players hone their number sense skills using addition and subtraction. Players select the group of answers that can solve the equations shown. There are three rounds each consisting of four bases. To move to first base, a player must answers 10 problems correctly. Players continue in the same manner, moving to second and third base. If a player makes a mistake between third base and home, all previous bases are erased and the students must try again to move to first base. Round one is worth 30 points. Round two is worth 40 points. Round three is worth 50 points.

 

Multiply/Divide Grand Slam. Available after completing game 1 of Skill Set® 3. Players use all four operations. There are three rounds, each consisting of four bases. Game play and scoring is the same as in the Add/Subtract Grand Slam game.

 

All-Star Grand Slam. This challenging Skill Set® 7 Bonus Game helps players improve their number sense skills with integers. There are three rounds each consisting of four bases. To move to first base, a player must answer ten problems correctly. Players continue, moving to second and third base. If a player makes a mistake between third base and home, all previous bases are erased and the students begins again to try and move to first base. Round one is addition and subtraction – worth 30 points. Round two is addition, subtraction and multiplication – worth 40 points. Round three is addition, subtraction, multiplication and division – worth 50 points.

 

 

 

Players improve number sense, grouping skills and automaticity with basic facts in these unique baseball-themed games. Fast-paced and fun, each game features three rounds that increase in difficulty, but there is no time limit.

Maximum of 120 stickers can be earned in each Grand Slam.
